This was the quickest Uni assignment i have ever done! What a way to get stuck back into the swing of things.
SEGWAY... I was on holiday for freshers week (if you don't know what that is, it is basically when everyone spends their first week at uni getting drunk like everyday) so i did not get the chance to receive an envelope containing a picture that my tutor had given out to people. i managed to get one in time regardless.. Managed to create this within two hours, that includes the shoot and post production.
SOOOOO... What i basically had to do seemed really simple, i look at this image, i write down what it make me feel and what thoughts it evoked for me. Then using those words i had to create my own image. This was so much more difficult then it sounds because you do not ever want to directly copy the image you have been given because, well where is the fun in doing that.

I would give credit where it is due but unfortunately i have no idea who made this photo as it was given to me printed on an A4 sheet of paper and nothing else.
Many obvious words stuck out to me, like surreal, uncomfortable, disturbing and dark. I started to think about the words i got, and they were dark and scary style words, who i thought about what scares me? how can i use those words to portray what scares me?
I thought about my fears, and what scares me, which relates to this image, are actually people. people are the most dangerous and scary things in the world to me. I do not like the fear of thinking about someone being in my house, hiding. Im guessing that fear and paranoia come from what i see in the news and fictional tv shows. But even so, the idea of someone waiting around the corner or waiting in a small space to try scare/hurt me, scares me. So i came up with this.
